What is Cloud-Computing?

Cloud computing means in the simplest possible terms storing and accessing data and programs via the Internet rather than the hard disk of your computer. It is not your hard drive where cloud storage is located. The so-called local storage and computation when you store data on the hard disk or run programs. Everything you want is physically close to yourself, which means that it is convenient and simple for one device or another to access your data on the local network.

Cloud computing promotes high-connectivity and computer skills in digital Bangladesh. The digital gap in Bangladesh's empowerment from all sectors of society is bridged. As large, hot IT businesses are theoretically rising here worth billion-dollar enterprises, Bangladesh has now acquired the capacity to be the next big Cloud Business sector. In Bangladesh as well as in all third world countries, cloud computing has an immense role in growing these businesses.

Types of Cloud Computing Services

Not so long ago, all of a company’s IT systems were on-premise, and clouds were just white fluffy things in the sky. To make life easier, Cloud Computing provides three types of services which are classified below:

It was obvious that in Bangladesh, people barely knew about IT related stuffs as Bangladesh was not that updated with technology. Because back then people did not have any clue what cloud is. They used to get puzzled by the term: "What are clouds and computers in common? In Bangladesh, in fact, 80-90% of the population believed that the cloud is a true cloud.

Lots of startup companies and E-commerce business started to grow rapidly as many End-user were stuck at home which helps the startup companies and E-commerce business to grow their business hence makes Cloud Computing popular in Bangladesh.
